Not going to survive winter...

Today is absolutely freezing! The high is a projected FORTYNINE DEGREES!! whaaat? I might die of frost bite once actual winter comes around. Last night, the wind was so bad that I couldn't ride my bike to class and I almost fell over walking because of one extra large gust. So maybe Colorado was a bad choice for a Tucsonan? Mhmm..

On a MUCH better note, I got my nose pierced!! :) The pictures aren't the most flattering but that's it! It hurt much more than anything I've gotten pierced but now it doesnt hurt at all. Next stop, a huge tatoo on my arm.... KIDDING MOM AND DAD!! Never, I promise.

This weekend is the New Member camping trip for Chi Omega. I would be extremely excited, if we weren't camping outdoors in this ridiculous cold weather. It's October 1st and we're expecting snow tonight; does anyone else see a problem with that? FML! After we get back on Saturday morning, a few of us are heading up to Den's condo in Winterpark for the night :) This weekend will be great!

I'm counting down the days until family weekend!! ONLY 8 LEFT! I can't wait for you all to come and freeze to death... and see the gorgeous campus! The leaves are all changing and falling (mostly cause of the wind, not fall!).

I'm going to lunch today with my Owl Pal from Chi Omega and I'm excited! After, I have my Chem Lab and then heading over to the XΩ house to finish my study hours for the week. We have to do 4 hours a week for the first semester, then after we get our GPA's they either increase or decrease depending on how well you're doing. I took two tests this week and I'll find out how I did on Friday/Tuesday. I feel pretty confident! :)

NEW BLOG!

HEY GUYS!
I just started my blog to update everyone back home on my life at CSU and in FoCo! I'm not sure how often I'll post, or how good I'll be at this, but I'm hoping it'll be fun and exciting for everyone to see!
Soo.... It's currently 53 degrees, which isn't okay with me. I bundled up a lot more than yesterday though, luckily. I can't wait for the weekend which is gonna warm back up, THANK GOD! Other than the sudden freak winter spell, I'm aboslutely loving Colorado! This weekend some friends on my floor and from CU went to Horsetooth and went swimming/hiked around. It was great!
Last week was incredibly busy because of Rush, but I'm slowly catching up again. I LOVE CHI O!! We've definitely kept busy and will continue to, but I love the girls and I'm so excited! This weekend will be BUSY though! On Saturday, we have a New Member workshop. On Sunday, we have our first philanthropy event: Chi O Kick-Off!! It's a Kickball Tournament to raise money for Make a Wish Foundation! I'm not sure what I'll be working, but it's from 10a-3p. Right after, I'll jump in the car and head to Denver for Julia's 18th birthday dinner at her house!! And then a quick drive to Boulder for the CITIZEN COPE CONCERT!! Woooo!!
Before the great and busy weekend though, I have an essay due in Psych on Friday. I got my frst two test scores back: 80 in Chem; 80 in Psych! I'm pretty happy with myself! Even BETTER though, I got my first essay back in U.S. History and I got an A+ :) :) :) :) Hopefully I'll do well on the other two that I've already turned in for Media In Society and Psych! Pray for me on my U.S. History test on Tuesday!!
I'm off to take a nap; 8am classes are AWFUL!! Hopefully going to the Mazalan's for dinner this week again :) Lots of Twilight dishing to do, movie nights to plan, and reminiscing to do!
